As a senior executive with over 40 years of domestic and international business experience, Gary has led the Regent Pacific Management team in the firm's most difficult and complex engagements. His expertise in general management, operations, and finance underscore his ability to find creative solutions for clients in need of financial and operational restructuring and performance improvement. He has participated in over 150 technology, commercial and retail/distribution engagements providing expertise in: the analysis and development of alternative courses of action available to underperforming or troubled companies; development of turnaround plans; negotiations with creditors and stockholders, management of worldwide operations for multinational companies; and operational and financial restructuring for businesses of all types. Gary has also acted as an advisor or a principal in more than 100 merger, acquisition, and divestment activities. His experience spans publicly-held and privately-owned companies as well as limited partnerships and family-owned businesses.

Gary recently served as Executive Chairman of Megapath Systems Inc., a global managed services and security software company that was acquired by Netifice Communications, Inc., a privately-held global software company. Gary served as Chairman and CEO of Verity, Inc., a publicly-traded software company specializing in knowledge retrieval technology with worldwide operations. The company was later acquired by Autonomy, Inc. Gary served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of KTEH-TV Foundation, a San Jose public television station, which merged with KQED-TV, forming Northern California Public Broadcasting, Inc. where he served as a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The Northern California Public Broadcasting, Inc. He is Chairman of the Tower Foundation Board of Directors of San Jose State University, and Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the College of Business at San Jose State University.

He has served as an officer and director of over 35 companies, both public and private, and is currently a director of 3 private companies.

Gary is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Institute of Directors, London-UK, the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the International Federation of Insolvency Professionals (INSOL), the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA). Gary was selected as the outstanding graduate of San Jose State University in 2004. Under Gary's leadership, Regent Pacific has been the recipient of the TMA National Award for the Large Corporate Turnaround of the Year, the Silicon Valley Service Provider of the Year award, and the TMA Turnaround of the Year award.
